Airport Museum Program Rotating Exhibitions
The San Francisco Airport Museum Program features galleries throughout the terminals many are located pre-security and accessible to the public. The galleries display art, history, science, and cultural rotating exhibitions. Subject matter and content is balanced to address the interests of the diverse public audience served by the Airport. Coinciding with SFO’s around the clock hours of operation, museum exhibitions are on view 24 hours a day

San Francisco Airport Commission Aviation Library & Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum
Dedicated to commercial aviation and SFO’s role as the “Gateway to the Pacific”, this 11,500 square foot facility is modeled after the passenger waiting area from the Airport’s own 1937 terminal that no longer exists. Admission is free of charge. Both the museum exhibition and the 6,000 volume library are available to visitors Sunday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Saturdays and holidays. San Francisco Arts Commission
Over 50 works by noted local, national and international artists are on display throughout the terminals. More than 25 pieces are located in pre-security areas accessible to the public. A guide to the collection, Art at SFO, is available at the information booths and kiosks throughout the terminals, or may be downloaded from the Airport’s website
Shopping and Dining
Shopping and dining options are located prior to security checkpoints and open to the general public. Well- known retailers featured at the Airport include the Discovery Channel Store, Hudson’s Books, Sephora, and the SFOMA store. ExpresSpa provides a total spa experience including massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxing. Many of the treatments are provided at different service levels, allowing customers to chose the option that best suites their time constraints. XpresSpa is located post-security in the International Terminal Boarding Area
